Literary

I have many inspirations, but I'll only go over a few of them. They'll be grouped under three categories, literary, visual and musical . One of my literary inspirations is Mark Twain. His short stories are really funny and all generally right on. I like the way his stories are written, like a news stories. This is because I'd like to be a journalist. Another writer I really like is Kurt Vonnegut. His stories are extremely entertaining and amusing, and they make their point very clearly. They are all political books, but there not slow, depressing or boring. Another writer I admire is Noam Chomsky. Well many of you may think of him as a radical communist, what he writes is generally true, and he presents it in a very good way. Well I'm talking about books, one book everyone should read is The Illuminatus! Trilogy. It is this hilarious conspiracy book by two drugged out hippies. It revolves around a conspiracy involving the Ancient Order of Bavarian Illuminati, the Trilateral Commision, and a weird rock group. It is extremely long, but everything is thouroughly explained. It is the strangest and funniest book I have ever read. P.J. O'Rourke recently mentioned it in a Rolling Stone article. I highly recommend it.
