What is culture?
"Culture is traditions, music, clothes."

Is there an American culture? Perceived or real?
"[American culture exists] a lot of people try to live like that. Nuclear families, kids playing baseball, all of that."

Where do you fit into "American culture"?
I don't really. I identify with young black teenagers. I identify with the hip hop generation. That doesn't really fit into American culture.

Do your opinions noticeably differ from your parents or older siblings?
My perceptions are not very different from my mothers and my grandmothers. But they seem to have accepted more or gotten used to it more.

What does it mean to be American?
To be American, or to say I am American means you support America. You may not agree with everything about it but you claim it and support it.

So you have any religious, ethnic or family traditions?
My family traditions and culture are pretty normal for black Americans. Home remidies and advice had been passed down and things like that.
